Let’s fill you in on the way to visit Sunday morning worship at Immanuel. As you can see in photos, there are no stair steps in our building making it very accessible.
The Contact Us page will show you a map in the section of Escanaba where we are located. For Sunday morning services it’s best to get here about 10:15 am. There are parking spots all around the building.
If you park in the south side (back) spots, come in the double back doors that are in the center of the building and come down the hall. When the hall opens up into the entrance area you will see our greeters at that corner. Tell them you are visiting and they will help direct you to the worship area.
If you park in the front parking lot facing the High School across the street, enter the front double doors and go through the second entrance doors, turn to your left and you will see the greeters right there. There are designated handicap spots in both parking lots.
When you continue down the hallway to the entrance of the worship area on your left, ushers at the doorway will give you the day’s bulletin. Service starts at 10:30 am with Pastor’s announcements, then follow along with everything as shown in the bulletin. Even the day’s songs are in there.
We do have a staffed nursery for small children if that would help you. The greeters can help you find that down the educational hallway.
We also have a Sunday School program that starts at 9 am during September through May. Ask us and we can fill you in on the program.
After service, we always have coffee and special snacks and conversation. Plan on staying for that. We don’t wear name tags, so don’t be afraid of mentioning you are visiting when a member strikes up a conversation.
If you have a question about attending services at Immanuel we suggest you go to the Contact Us page and use the best way for you to ask that question.
